UK:

  • Commonwealth Master’s Scholarship: A University of Dundee scholarship for applicants from low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries to pursue a full-time master’s degree at a UK university. The scholarship covers one year of tuition, a monthly stipend, a package of allowances, and travel expenses.
  • Undergraduate Mathematics Scholarships at the University of Edinburgh: Scholarships of up to £5,000 (approximately US$6,350) per year are available to applicants from non-EU countries. Students must have been accepted for full-time admission to an undergraduate degree program at the University of Edinburgh’s School of Mathematics.
  • China Scholarship Council UCL Joint Scholarship: This scholarship is open to applicants from the People’s Republic of China who are interested in studying any subject in the mathematical department at UCL. After graduation, successful applicants will be required to return to China to work.

  • After College STEM Inclusion Scholarship: This is a $500 scholarship. It is open to US students with a minimum GPA of 3.0, who are from an underrepresented group (race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, age, social economic status, or nationality), and who are currently enrolled in a STEM course.
  • The Education Future International Scholarship is available to Indian national students studying at a university outside of India. The scholarship ranges in value from 2 lakhs to 10 lakhs (US$2,680-$13,400).
  • Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program: For students pursuing master’s degrees in development-related fields (including applied mathematics) at a Japanese university, a university in the United States, or a university in Africa. To apply, applicants must be citizens of a World Bank member developing country.
  • AIWA The Lucy Kasparian Aharonian Scholarship is available to Armenian-born mathematics students studying at any university in the world. Postgraduates and undergraduates are both eligible to apply.
