You must meet the following requirements to be eligible:

  • You can apply as a domestic or international candidate. Domestic candidates have Australian citizenship, permanent residency in Australia, or New Zealand citizenship. Please keep in mind that students currently residing in Australia will be given priority.
  • Meet Deakin’s PhD admissions requirements.
  • Be enrolled full-time and have a first-class honours degree or an equivalent standard master’s degree with a significant research component.
